(2) Give a brief account on:

      A- Treatment of narrow QRS tachycardia.

(20 marks).

      B- Timing of surgery of aortic incompetence.

(20 marks).

 

(3) Enumerate the causes of each of the following:

      A- Acute pericarditis.

(10 marks).

      B- Fever after open heart surgery.

(10 marks).

      C- Parasternal continuous murmur.

(1) How would you proceed to manage a 50 years old male admitted to the ER with chest oppression, severe respiratory distress and a blood pressure of 90/60 mmHg.

(2) Outline causes and management of:

      A- Recurrent syncope.

(20 marks).

      B- Lower limb claudication pain.

(20 marks).

 

(3) What are the value and limitation of each of the following:

      A- Trans-thoracic echocardiography in MS.

(15 marks).

      B- Treadmill exercise test in ischemic heart disease.

(15 marks).
