years old male was seen in the emergency department (ED) with30 minute duration mid-precordial chest pain. It was
radiating to the medial aspect of the left forearm and was relieved with
repeated sublingual nitroglycerin.
On examination; his pulse was
92
bpm, BP
140/90 mmHg, and
there were no signs of cardiac enlargement or heart failure. The ECG showed old
inferior wall myocardial infarction and flat-inverted T-wave in V4-6.
- Discuss the immediate
management and future investigation of this case.
