- A 58 year university professor came complaining of
typical crescendo angina pectoris in the last 6-8
months. The chest and left arm pain occurs on mild to
moderate exertion. He was normotensive with no physical
abnormalities. Lab tests revealed only dislypidemia
(total cholesterol of 283, LDL 132, HDL 27 mg/dL). The
